Breakfast of Champions

Save the Date! BGCHCO is proud to hold its annual Breakfast of Champions on October 22nd! Our guest speaker is the Former Miss Waco (2015) Jamie Blanek, and she's got a story to tell... In 2021, Jamie stopped to help those injured in a nearby traffic accident. Unfortunately, Jamie ended up being hit by a passing vehicle, causing her serious physical injury and resulting in a hospital stay. Since then, Jamie has summoned her courage, conviction and strength to live a purpose driven life. Not one for sitting still, Jamie got busy relearning to snowboard, competing in Spartan races and climbing mountains in Ecuador - all with a prosthesis on her right leg.
