We’ll be gazing at the Full Moon and spotting some amazing constellations, including:
• Orion: Known as the "Hunter," Orion is one of the most recognizable constellations in the night sky.
• Canis Major: Home to Sirius, the brightest star in the sky, often called the "Dog Star."
• Gemini: Representing the twins, Castor and Pollux, this constellation is all about brotherly love.
• Perseus: Named after the Greek hero who saved Andromeda from a sea monster.
• Taurus: The mighty bull, home to the famous Pleiades star cluster!
What to bring:
• A blanket or chair for comfort
• A telescope, red flashlight or binoculars (if you have one!)
A telescope will be provided!
• Warm clothing (it can get chilly)
• Snacks & drinks for a cozy evening
• Your curiosity and love for the night sky!
