Junior Guide to Paleontology
In our junior paleo class, kids will learn about fossil excavation, preservation and preparation as well as museum curation. Junior paleontologists will receive a name badge and certificate of completion at the end of class.
In this first class of our series, students will have lesson time with an introduction to paleontology PowerPoint & presentation. Then an exclusive tour of our prep lab followed by fossil fish prepping, which students are able to take home & keep! Students will need to bring a notebook & be prepared to take notes.
Junior Guide to Paleontology will be from 9-11am on July 29, 2023 at Texas Through Time.
Students need to be attended by an adult; parent is welcome to learn along!
Classes are limited and pre-enrollment is required to secure a spot.

Class is $75 per student and will include taking home the authentic fossil they learn to prepare!
