Now enrolling for our next junior paleontology kid’s class!
In our junior paleo class, kids will learn about fossil excavation, preservation and preparation as well as museum curation. Junior paleontologists will receive a name badge and certificate of completion at the end of class.
In this first class of our series, students will have lesson time with an introduction to paleontology PowerPoint & presentation. Then an exclusive tour of our prep lab followed by fossil fish prepping, which students are able to take home & keep! Students will need to bring a notebook & be prepared to take notes.
Junior Guide to Paleontology will be from 2-4pm on January 10, 2026 at Texas Through Time.
Classes are limited and pre-enrollment is required to secure a spot. Suggested for ages 8-16
Class is $75 per student and will include taking home the authentic fossil they learn to prepare!Pre-Enrollment is required.
