Veterans Day Events in Hillsboro, Texas
On Veteran's Day, Friday November 11th, the following activities are planned in Hillsboro:.
The 32nd annual Hill County Veterans Ceremony is scheduled for 9:30 a.m. at Hillsboro Junior High School, located at 210 East Walnut Street. Special honoree at the morning ceremony this year is World War II veteran PFC James C. Tramel. Following the morning ceremony, lunch will be served free to all veterans at Historic City Hall, located at 127 East Franklin Street in Hillsboro, with veterans' memorabilia displayed.
At 5 p.m. on Friday., there will be a veterans' memorial and appreciation service at the northeast corner of the Hill County Courthouse square, at 73 North Waco Street. A social gathering will follow at Wrangler's Cafe and Entertainment, 106 East Elm Street.
