Job Summary Operates hand and machine tools, including welding and cutting equipment, in order to construct clad assemblies. Works at a table on shop floor. Operator Trainees work under direct supervision. Technicians report directly to the Assembly Supervisor. 2nd shift hours - 2pm-10:30pm Must pass an ATF background check Must pass a drug test Payrate 17.50/ hour Monday - Friday with 2 Saturdays a month Upon permanent hire there are Annual Salary Increases 401K matched at 5% vested at day 1 Safety Shoe Voucher/Reimbursement 3 weeks paid vacation 8 paid holidays 2 floating holidays Tuition Reimbursement Essential Duties and Responsibilities *Follow all safety, environmental, quality and 5S rules, regulations and requirements. *Read and implement set-up sheets for clad assemblies. *Perform tasks such as metal cleaning, taping, drilling, sawing and hand grinding to assist other assembly technicians in construction of clad assemblies. *Inspect all equipment before use and perform operator maintenance when needed. Report any unsafe equipment conditions to Area Lead & Area Manager. *Monitor and ensure safe work habits and tool use in assigned areas. *Ability to read and interpret documents and drawings such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. *Ability to stand /walk at a work station for an extended period of time. *Ability to use hands with continuous repetitive motion while picking up/gathering materials up to 50 lbs.
