Reach Across Hill County
We inspire adults and kids to make positive choices.
Through our community-based prevention coalition, we bring members and organizations serving the community together to identify substance-use-related problems using local data. We then enact community-level activities that address these issues.
Some ways we work include educational presentations on recognizing signs of substance misuse in youths, supporting local prescription drug take-back days that remove unwanted medications from homes, and facilitating events that provide families with healthy activities designed to increase community connectedness and wellbeing. We can partner with individuals, organizations, government entities, businesses, schools, and other groups to strategize improvements to prevention opportunities and increase prevention infrastructure, specifically in the areas of substance misuse and mental health.
REACH out to Sabrina.Dyer@ReachCouncil.org to get the conversation started or feel free to attend our coalition meetings, which are open to the public.
