We inspire adults and kids to make positive choices.
Building strong, connected communities throughout the Hill County, Texas area is our goal at REACH Council. We offer a variety of community-based prevention programs that include our Youth Recovery Support Communities program, REACH Across Hill County, and our community coalition. We strive to guide and inspire our community to make a difference, working closely with the businesses, faith community, and schools in our area. We also partner with individuals and organizations to improve prevention opportunities and increase prevention infrastructure, specifically in the areas of substance misuse and mental health.
Through our community-based prevention programs, we bring members of the community together to identify substance-use-related problems. We then enact community-based activities that address these issues. We do this through educational presentations at local schools and community groups, as well as supporting local prescription drug take-back days that remove unwanted medications from homes. We also help facilitate events that provide teens with education on underage alcohol use and substance use.
We customize all of our presentations to the audience we serve to ensure they are age- and development-appropriate. We can develop presentations on many topics, including drugs, alcohol, tobacco, bullying, decision-making, cyberbullying, social media safety, and more.
Our community-based prevention programs are designed to make a difference in the lives of the individuals and groups we serve.
